First Aid & Medical Training
The-Training-Wing specialises in the delivery of first aid and medical training courses which range from the basic first aider training such as Emergency First Aid, First Aid at Work and First Person On Scene. We are accredited to conduct HSE, Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance and Edexcel approved courses.
Maritime Security & Safety Training
The-Training-Wing are approved by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and Department for Transport to deliver a host of training courses including Ship Security Officer (SSO), Company Security Officer (CSO), Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD), Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA), STCW95 (4 modules) and Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) both in the UK and overseas. These training courses are delivered to the highest possible standard by highly experienced maritime security professionals and seasoned mariners. Our Combined Maritime Security Course is one of our most popular courses for military service leavers and security consultants looking to acquire the pre requisites to enter the Maritime Security sector.
The Training Wing specialises in Close Protection training that meets the required standards for students wishing to work in the private security industry as Close Protection Operatives. Our instructors comprise of former UK Special Forces, RMP Close Protection and Metropolitan Police CP instructors with a combined total of over 50 years of experience in operational CP tasking’s both within the UK and also overseas in hostile environments such as Iraq and Afghanistan. All our Close Protection training meets the requirements to allow the student to apply for their SIA (Security Industry Authority) Close Protection licence. Our Combined Close Protection Course also includes the First Person On Scene Intermediate qualification.
Maritime Firearms Competency Course
This Maritime Firearms Competency Course is delivered by former Royal Marine and UKSF firearms instructors that have been approved by the National Rifle Association as Club Coaches and Range Conducting Officers. The course is delivered from a purpose built indoor shooting complex in Dorset that has various ranges on site including a 25m, 35m, 100m & a laser judgemental trainer. The training has been designed to meet the requirements of the Maritime Security Industry and in particular the new proposed standard of ISO28007. Our course is fully endorsed by various leading maritime security companies in the UK and overseas. As well as our UK firearms facility we also have a ‘full bore’ (.308 and 7.62) exclusive firearms complex in St Astier, France which has recently been approved by the United Nations.
